The study study was done around the problems of credit risk faced by Indian Overseas Bank following lending financial loans to the clients. The main target of the analyze is to find out the level of Low Performing Property, which influences the performance of lender pertaining to kodambakkam branch. The research also continues on in examining the recovery procedure which can be followed by your bank in reducing the NPA and how far the bank have been successful in reducing the amount of NPA. The scope from the project is restricted to American indian Overseas Financial institution at kodambakkam Branch.

The study methodology utilized in the study is analytical research, the method of data collection can be secondary info. The secondary data is collected through the banks NPA reports. The analysis with the data is carried out by using accounting tool rate analysis. Additionally simple record technique of Graphical manifestation is used to get better understanding & display.

The locating of this analysis shows that the lender has focused its interest in intentionally shedding high cost deposits, careful credit growth and made a successful position in NPA Recovery.

The suggestion provided by the study would be that the bank must have its own impartial credit rating company which should assess the financial capacity and conditions of the client at the time of credit facility plus the government must also take important recovery process which can make the recovery method fast and effective.
