The Outsiders is a story that has motley of alienation. Furor isn't being taken by extraterrestrials. Alienation is usually uniqueness and someone that differs from someone else or group. But throughout the whole history of the Outsiders there is furor.
One mark of hysteria in this account is funds between the Greasers and the Socs. The Socs always demonstrate characteristics penalized rich mainly because they're often wearing echarpe shirts and pants. Like in the fight after Johnny died. In addition they drive blue mustangs and live in big houses. One of these is if the mustang rolled up on Ponyboy with a number of Socs prior to he acquired jumped. But the Greasers terribly lack that much cash and put on worn blue jeans and white T's and leather jackets. They also travel busted, run down, used automobiles. Therefore , the Greasers feel alienated through the Socs.
A second sign of furor is the frizzy hair between the Greasers and the Socs. The Greasers have greasier hair. They always have to comb it back, even before battles. The Greasers carry a comb at all times. An example of it can be when Ponyboy and Ashton ran apart and Johnny when to their grocer and helped bring bleach and things to modify their appearance and Ponyboy was trying to fight it. The hair greasy is the main point that may differ the two gangs. It's as an oath among the two hoods.
One particular last image of alienation in the story is Ponyboy. Ponyboy considers he's in opposition from everyone else in the Outsiders. He believes he is antiestablishment from his older brother, Darry, and that he hardly ever pleases him no matter what this individual does. Pony also seems alienated from your gang (Greasers) because he likes to read books and gets good marks in school. But he knows where he belongs.
