Validity is around the extent to which a piece of research in finding out what the research is finding out what the investigator intents to learn. The idea of validity means that something happens to be true and is believed. When people say ‘that's a valid point”, they mean the point is pertinent, meaningful and believable. It can be concerned with fact and value, that is whether conclusions are correct or not. In addition, it considers whether or not the method, strategies and tactics actually connect with what is getting explored. In a research study, validity ensures that answers are effective and variables which may threaten quality should be controlled. It provides meaningful results. Hence, it is the essence of this presentation to specify validity and identify their types that pertain to research. The term validity will be described. Definition of Validity

It identifies the appropriateness, meaningfulness and usefulness with the specific inferences made from a test rating (Pedhazur and Schmelkin 1991 in Makore-Rukuni 2001). In respect to Barkhan (1995) validity is referred to as the degree to which a research analyze measures what it intends to measure. Validity refers to how well a test measures what it is proposed to assess. Barbor (2007) defines validity as an indication of accuracy in terms of the extent that a research bottom line corresponds with reality. Validity is the reliability of results.

Chikoko and Mhloyi (1995) refer quality as to just how sound or perhaps effective the measuring tool is. Jack (2012) suggest that, validity ensures that something is accurate and can be assumed. It is focused on truth and value. Garry (2011) evidence that, quality is about the extent where a piece of study in finding out what the investigator intents to determine. It is the degree to which a research study actions what it hopes to measure. Harbour (2007) defines quality as a sign of reliability in terms of the extent to which a research bottom line corresponds with reality....
